2025 Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine “Belt and Road” Western Rehabilitation Medicine Forum & 13th West China Rehabilitation International Forum

The 2025 Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine “Belt and Road” Western Rehabilitation Medicine Forum and the 13th West China Rehabilitation International Forum will take place from June 27 to 29 in Chengdu, Sichuan. During the event, we will host the “Inaugural Scoliosis Intelligent Rehabilitation Forum.”

With the rapid advancement of cutting‑edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and 3D printing, the models for diagnosing and rehabilitating scoliosis are undergoing unprecedented transformation. Forum Eleven will be dedicated to the integration of intelligent technologies and rehabilitation for scoliosis. We have invited top experts from the fields of rehabilitation medicine, spinal surgery, biomechanics, and artificial intelligence, both domestic and international, to build an interdisciplinary exchange platform and explore innovative pathways in intelligent scoliosis rehabilitation.

Professor Yongping Zheng, Founding Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, has been listed “Stanford’s Top 2% Scientists” for three consecutive years and recognized among the “Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists in AI and Image Processing.” His primary research areas include biomedical ultrasound instrumentation, ultrasonic measurement and imaging of tissue elasticity, Sonomyography, 3D ultrasound imagin, musculoskeletal ultrasound assessment, ultrasound image and signal processing, and intelligent aging technologies. He is also a co‑founder of Telefield Medical Imaging Limited. On June 29, at the Inaugural Scoliosis Intelligent Rehabilitation Forum, Professor Zheng will present a keynote lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence–Enabled 3D Ultrasound Assessment of Scoliosis.” We warmly invite you to join us!
